A 14-year-old boy was struck and killed by a car Tuesday in Brockton, officials said.
The Plymouth District Attorney's office identified the victim asMadio Jalo of Brockton.
Police responded to the scene on Main Street at about 6:42 p.m. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and the male driver of the vehicle that struck him stopped and stayed in the area with investigators.

The driver has not been charged and his identity is being withheld at this time.
State police continue to investigate the incident.
