Fire crews rescue worker who was stuck under 40-ton truck

A worker was changing a tire onhis truck when something shifted and caused the massive vehicle to fall, WCVB is reporting.

The man was rescued and was heard yelling “thanks guys” as he was brought into the ambulance, according to WCVB. His injuries are said to be non-life-threatening.

Rescue crewswerecalled to the scene at 435 Hyde Park Ave. in Roslindale. Photos from the scene show fire personnel working together to free the worker.

The 80,000-poundtruck is used tovacuum and clean sewer drains, according to WCVB.
