Two Boston men were ordered held without bail Thursday in connection with a fatal Charlestown shooting that left a teen dead last fall.

DaniloSoto, 21, of Dorchester, and Alexander Soto, 17, of Charlestown, are both facing charges of murder and armed assault with intent to murder. Their friend and driver, Julio Baez, 24, of Charlestown was arraigned on the same charges Wednesday. Baez was also held.

Prosecutors allege the two Sotos, who are not related, walked by a Main Street convenience store around 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 5 when they open fire, striking Ryan Morrissey, 17, and another 19-year-old man.

The two fled on foot on Salem Street and got into a gray Acura driven by Baez, who then struck a parked car. Morrissey died several days later, on Nov. 9. The second victim survived and his identity has not been released.

Boston Police Commissioner William Evans has said Morrissey was “mistakenly targeted.”

According to police, cell phone records indicate the Sotos were in Charlestown that night and their fingerprints were found on the Acura.

All three return to court on April 23.
