Federal investigators say they are looking into reports that green lasers were pointed at planes operating near two Massachusetts airports Wednesday night.

The Federal Aviation Administration said the first report came just before 9 p.m., when a ““Hawker 25 aircraft reported that a green laser illuminated the aircraft when it was over Harriman Airport in North Adams, MA,” according a statement obtained by the Boston Globe. At the time, the aircraft was flying at 11,000 feet.

About 20 minutes later, an American Airlines flight reported a similar green laser that was illuminating the cockpit, about 10 miles northeast of Logan Airport.

Two minutes later, a Delta Airlines flight also reported seeing a green laser shining at the aircraft when it was also about 10 miles northeast of Logan.
