Ben Affleck certainly let loose on HBO's "Any Given Wednesday" with Bill Simmons on Wednesday night.
In an epic five-minute rant, Affleck, anoted New England Patriots fan, slammed the NFL and its commissioner Roger Goodell for quarterback Tom Brady's four-game suspension afterusing underinflated balls during a playoff game last year.
Dropping the F-bomb 16times, the actor alleged Brady's punishment was the result of a"conspiracy" of people in the NFL, calling the entire ordeal"f—ing ridiculous smear campaign."
"We haven't done anything to address this crisis of domestic violence in the NFL, but the f—ing football better not be 8 percent lighter," Affleck quipped.

Naturally, everyone thought he was drunk. How else could you explain a passionate rant about the most "bulls— f—ing outrage of sports"?
Also is Ben Affleck drunk? Slurring his words, rambling about Deflategate, dude looks totally soaked.— ¯\_(bwd)_/¯ (@_BWD_) June 23, 2016
It is weird how drunk Ben Affleck was on Any Given Wednesday. It’s just weird to be that drunk on TV. It’s a weird choice.— Anton Trees (@basketballtrees) June 23, 2016
Then again, Affleck was raised right outside Boston, so, uh, this is nothing new.
If you thought Ben Affleck was drunk on @BillSimmons's show last night, you've never seen a Masshole go full Boston before.— Tanya (@MissTanya) June 23, 2016
Anybody ever think to stop to consider, maybe Ben Affleck wasn't drunk, maybe he's just from Boston?— Thee Fanboy Slayer (@theefefe) June 23, 2016
This is what happens when you give a Boston bro one beer. https://t.co/hCPCsGE2Od— Michael Rubino (@MARubino) June 23, 2016
When you're drunk, who you really are comes out. Ben Affleck really is just a regular guy from Boston.— Marty Beckerman (@martybeckerman) June 23, 2016
