Blizzard 2015: Here’s what’s open in Boston
Kirkland Tap & Trotter

If your cabin fever has reached critical mass and you’re ready to face the snow in search of food, we’ve got you covered. There are plenty of restaurants and bars planning to brave the storm, so here’s where you can go. And if you’re on Twitter, try searching the hashtag #openinBOS, as bars and restaurants are regularly tweeting out updates on their statuses. Best laid plans to stay open may have gotten buried in snow, after all.

Common Ground Bar, 85 Harvard Ave., Allston

Not only is the bar open, but the kitchen is running as well, so head on down if you need some tater tots to get you through the storm.

Battery Park, 33 Batterymarch St., Financial District

The folks at Battery Park are keeping their spirits up: They cheerfully tweeted that they’d just done their third round of shoveling. They opened with drinks only at noon, but are aiming to get their kitchen going later in the day.

Kirkland Tap & Trotter, 425 Washington St., Somerville

If you can make yourself wait until this evening, Kirkland Tap and Trotter opens at 5:30 with a $16 burger and beer special, and $2 oysters.

Sonsie, 327 Newbury St.

You may not be able to get any shopping done today, but Sonsie promises a full lunch menu until 2:30 and will be open all day.

Craigie on Main, 853 Main St., Cambridge

They’re getting ready for a “chef’s whim-a-thon” dinner beginning at 5:30, but have also tweeted that if you’re need of a coffee, you can head right in. They also say chef de cuisine Carl Dooley walked four miles to get there, so really, it would be rude not to reward his efforts.

Bertucci’s, Faneuil Hall, 22 Merchants Row

If you’re not quite ready to dine out, but you didn’t manage to stock up on enough food, the Bertucci’s in Faneuil Hall is offering carry out service for the foreseeable future.

Grass Fed, 605 Centre St., Jamaica Plain

Not only is the burger joint open, they even made a little poem on Twitter about it. Slight paraphrased because no one likes reading hashtags: We are open in BOS! Stop shoveling and take a break. Let us make you some burgers and beer and adult milkshakes.

Ward8, 90 N. Washington St., North End

You should probably keep checking on this North End spot’s Twitter feed: They’re opening at 5, and promise some TBD specials to go with their usual fare.
