A former nanny has been sentenced to prison after admitting to stealing over $200,000 from the family she worked for, WCVB reported. Stephanie Fox, 30, was sentenced to 40 months in prison on Thursday by a U.S. District Court and ordered to repay her former employers for the money she stole using fraudulent checks over the course of 18 months. The Herald reported that Fox, who has a “criminal history, which includes prior larceny and identity theft convictions” could have faced 30 years in prison.
