Foodies of all diets will have plenty to feast on this weekend at the the 19th Annual Boston Vegetarian Food Festival.

The free event, which is hosted by The Boston Vegetarian Society, will run on Saturday and Sunday at the Reggie Lewis Center.

Vegetarian Society President Evelyn Kimber promised food producers from as far away as British Columbia and the west coast as well as some of New England’s favorite food purveyors. According to Kimber, even omnivores may be pleasantly surprised with the dishes.

“From the latest tender, succulent veggie meats to hit the marketplace, to creamy vegan mac ‘n’ cheese, to international plant-based cuisines, to eye-popping baked goods and treats, and a good supply of healthy and nutritious whole foods dishes, too, there will be something to please every palate no matter what your eating habits,” said Kimber.

The festival will also include a selection of speakers and cooking demonstrations, according to the society.
