Boston woman charged in DTX assault, theft

Transit police arrested a Boston woman Thursday in connection to an assault at the Downtown Crossing MBTA station.

Bianca Telheiro, 20, is accused of assaulting a woman at the T station at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and stealing her iPhone, police said on their blog.The incident happened on the Red Line platform. Police said they arrested Telheiro the next day at Park Street Station.

Telheiro faces charges of larceny over $250 and assault.
