A road rage incident Thursday afternoon left a man with several stab wounds, and police are now searching for the suspect.
The attack took place at Granite and North streets in Braintree.
“We pulled right up, and there was this man lying down, and people ran up and were throwing blankets on him," Dan Sheehan, a witness, told WHDH. "Someone said there was something stuck into him, and people said he got stabbed."

"We saw the guy on the ground," Josh Ledger, another witness, explained. "They tried pulling whatever was in him – they tried pulling it out. You could hear him screaming while he was down there."
The victim, whose identity has not been released, was taken to Boston Medical Center. Police are still investigating the incident.
