'Aggressive' coyote spotted in Brookline: Police

Brookline police warned residents on Friday of an "aggressive" coyote in the area.

The coyote charged at an officer around 11:30 a.m. Friday near Washington and Park streets, officials said.

It was then spotted at Washington and Greenough streets just before 2 p.m.

Officers cautioned students leaving school to travel in groups and not to approach the animal, and advised anyone who sees it to call 911.
