It’s safe to say that Kate Upton has become too famous for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and she knows it. Upton reportedly demanded that she be placed on the cover of the upcoming annual issue.

According to a NY Post source: “There was drama. Kate demanded that if she did the shoot, that she absolutely must get the cover. She also had a list of photographers and hair and makeup people that she would only work with. She was being a big f—ing diva. She thinks she’s better than everyone because she’s an actress.”

Upton has a whopping three credits on her IMDB page (to be fair, three more – all Oscar worthy I’m sure – are in post-production). She was “Mr. Hightower’s Mistress” in Tower Heist in 2011, “Sister Bernice” in The Three Stooges in 2012, and “Amber” in 2014’s The Other Woman.

A real Audrey Hepburn we’ve got on our hands here.

Cheatin’ Colts

Patriots haters have accused the franchise of bending the rules for years, but now that the Pats have won two Super Bowl games with 100 percent inflated footballs, it’s hard to argue against their greatness. NFL Network’s Deion Sanders defended the Pats’ “cheating ways” this week, and cited a double-standard with Peyton Manning’s Colts.

“Those same critics, did they say anything about the wins that the Colts had? You want to talk about that too?,” Sanders said in a verbal spat with Patriots hater LaDainian Tomlinson on NFL Network. “Because they were getting everybody’s signals. Come on, you don’t walk up to the line and look over here and the man on the sideline giving you the defense that they’ve stolen the plays of. We all knew. L.T. knew. Everybody in the NFL knew. We just didn’t let the fans know. That was real, and that was happening in Indy.”

Ballin!

Five years from now, remember that I told you that the Ball brothers would be the two most dominant players in the NBA. UCLA star Lonzo Ball is going to be a top three pick in this year’s NBA Draft and his younger brother, LaMelo Ball, scored 92 points in one game this week. LaMelo is only a sophomore at Chino Hills High School.

Expect plenty of lame “these Ball brothers can ball, man” jokes from washed up sports anchors if sports anchors are still doing highlights in five years.

MJ the ass

At some point, you go from “ultra-competitive” to just a straight-up A–hole. Michael Jordan has been walking that fine line since he called out John Starks during his Hall of Fame induction speech eight years ago and this week we got further proof that bitter MJ can’t really handle seeing greatness in today’s NBA. Golden State Warriors owner Joe Lacob said he saw Jordan at a party recently and Jordan told him that he wasn’t all that impressed with the Warriors’ 73 wins last season.

“People were drinking, having a good time and all that. But there was a moment where Jordan said, ‘You know, 73 don’t mean … ,’” Lacob said before trailing off on 95.7FM The Game in San Francisco. “He did it. Michael Jordan did that. And I looked at him, and I just decided not to, you know make a big deal of it.”
