A Massachusetts doctor has been indicted for allegedly inappropriately touching his female patients.

The Worcester County District Attorney’s officeconfirmed to Metro thatDr. Ho Yin AaronShiu, a Shrewsbury resident, now facesone count of rape and four counts of indecent assault and battery, following a grand jury indictment this week.

That office alleged the doctor inappropriately touched a woman’s breasts in March 2013 at AdCare Hospital, then inappropriately touched a female patient while not wearing gloves at UMass Memorial Medical Center in November of 2013.

The Worcester Telegram & Gazette reportsthe 36-year-oldShiu left UMass Memorial last summer.

Shiu, a physical rehab specialist, signed an agreement with the state’s Board of Registration in Medicine last month stating he would voluntarily cease his medical practice in Massachusetts.
