FOX 25 is back on Verizon FiOS

FOX 25 is back on FiOS. A disagreement over fees meant Verizon blacked out the local affiliate starting on Thanksgiving.

The blackout meant that 400,000 FiOS customers did not get the station.

FOX 25 published a statement on its web site just before midnight Wednesday:

“FOX 25 and Verizon FiOS have reached a new long-term agreement that will permit Verizon FiOS to bring back FOX 25. We apologize to our viewers for any disruption that this dispute caused, and we thank Verizon FiOS for its willingness to continue working with FOX 25 to reach an agreement that is favorable for both companies and all of our viewers. FOX 25 is very pleased to be back on Verizon FiOS.”
