Jon Lester, the former Red Sox lefthanded pitcher, has agreed to a deal with the Chicago Cubs, according to ESPN.
That outlet reports the deal is for six years and $155 million.
The Red Sox had been among the teams vying for Lester this offseason. The 30-year-old southpaw won 110 games during his nine years in Boston before being dealt to the Oakland A's last season.
