Kate Wright, a 25-year-old American actress who appears on the British reality TV show “The only way is Essex (TOWIE), is said to be dating former England soccer defender Rio Ferdinand.

Wright’s former boyfriend, Dan Edgar, told the Daily Star Sunday that he was surprised that Wright would be dating Ferdinand as he“didn’t think (Ferdinand) would be her type.

“It didn’t work out,” Edgar told BANG Showbiz of Wright. “I haven’t spoken to her for a few weeks. I was with Kate for a long time so I think there will always be feelings there. She has an amazing body.

“I’m not dating at the moment. It’s not easy having a relationship on TV, I know now. But I guess it depends on the circumstances.
