The Rose Kennedy Greenway announced its new mobile foodlineup for the spring season — including 10 brand new vendors to the ‘hood — with a grand total of 34 trucks and trikesparking in 2016. Among the newbies:

Andlast, but not least: Buttermilk chicken sandwiches and fries fromWalloon’s Fried Chicken

Jesse Brackenbury, Executive Director of the Greenway Conservancy, says in a statement regarding the seventh season:“The tremendous variety of fresh, distinctive, and locally-sourced food items available at reasonable prices makes Mobile Eats a popular reason to visit The Greenway… and to keep coming back. We are proud to support the local food entrepreneurs as we welcome them back to The Greenway for another delicious season.”

The new program kicks off April 23rd with a food truck festival featuring the vendors between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Greenway between Milk and India.
