A lot of happy Louis C.K. fans were thrilled to hear that the once Boston-based comedian would be performing a surprise show in Allston Tuesday night, with hundreds reportedly lining up outside of the Paradise Rock Club to get tickets.
Others, however, were less than thrilled about the announcement, including a nearby insurance office whose number was accidentally printed as the contact info for the Paradise. Whoops!
While the club’s phone number is 617-562-8800, C.K. reportedly wrote 617-562-8200 — the number for Allston Insurance Agency.

Office manager Marie Lovetere told Boston.com that she and the one other employee in the office spent the morning answering phones, which rang off the hook.
“We have to answer because we don’t know if it’s a customer or not,” she said. “It just keeps ringing and ringing. There’s no stopping. What do I do?”
Lovetere told the website she had never even heard of the comedian.
