A man was shot and killed Friday morning during a poilce chase in Lynn.
The incident began at about 8:40 a.m. near Nichols and Western avenues, CBS Boston reported. “The suspect had multiple warrants and was on foot at the time of the incident,” according to Boston.com. A witness told the Lynn Daily Item that they heard “about 10 shots.” Though it wasn’t clear what sparked the chase, CBS Boston stated, it started at a home on Bay View Avenue. The suspect was believed to be carrying a gun.
No officers were hurt and the incident is still under investigation.
