Yacht Maggie Mae gets stuck in snow, creates more Boston traffic

A yacht named “Maggie Mae” out of Johnston, Rhode Island became stuck at an intersection in Boston’s Financial District Wednesday afternoon, tying up traffic and prompting a slew of “three hour tour” jokes on Twitter.

Crews worked to eventually remove the 36-foot boat, which was being pulled by a truck that had apparently become stuck in a snow bank. The incident happened on Summer Street.

The boat was reportedly being towed to the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center for the New England Boat show, which kicks off Saturday.
