One man faces multiple charges stemming from an alleged DUI crash that ended with him assaulting a nurse who was assisting at the scene.

Tyler Mullen, 20, flipped his pickup truck on its side near the corner of Main and Belmont streets in Brockton after witnesses claim to have seen him speeding before the crash, CBS reported. Police added that they saw Mullen swing at a nurse as he was exiting his truck.

The pickup truck was “driving down Belmont Street with both right side tires blown out and sparks coming from the rims,” police Lt. Ken LeGrice was quoted, recounting witness statements, by the Enterprise. “When he got down to Belmont and Main, he failed to negotiate a turn, the truck flipped over on its right side and crashed into the building.”

Police then saw Mullen take a swing at an off-duty nurse who was helping at the scene, the Enterprise added.
