Man fatally shot in Boston

Police are currently investigating the incident, which took place Wednesday night.

Police are currently investigating a deadly shooting that left one man dead Wednesday night in Mission Hill, Boston.

Officers went to 55 Fenwood Rd. shortly before 7:40 p.m. for a report of an unknown medical situation, and they discovered the man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, the Boston Globe reported.

Neighbors in the area told the Globe that they were shocked by the news and that the neighborhood was usually quiet.

“It’s quiet down here,” Mission Hills resident and neighbor of the man in question, Jonathan Thomas, explained to the Globe. “Not too much happens on this side of Mission Hill.”

Police are currently investigating the incident, and there are no suspects at the time.
