Man killed in Brockton shooting, suspect sought

The Massachusetts State Police are investigating a broad daylight shooting in Brockton that left one man dead.

Brockton Police responded to a 911 call at 3:46 p.m. on Monday for a report of an armed robbery with a man shot on Rodney Street.

Police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The 27-year-old was taken to Brockton Hospital where he underwent emergency surgery. The man did not survive and was pronounced dead at 6:43 p.m.
