A Bourne man’s eye-catching face tattoo helped police bust him his girlfriend for allegedly stealing $570 worth of sunglasses from an area mall.

Eliezer Santiago, 39, had the Biblical mark of the beast—the number “666”—written across his forehead, police said.

He and Grace H. Stewart, 32, were arrested Thursday after a theft at an Oakley store in the Natick Mall, police told the Natick Bulletin.

Police said they pulled over the suspects’ vehicle as they fled the mall and found three sunglasses that employees reported missing after the pair left.

Both were charged with larceny of property worth more than $250 and conspiracy to commit a crime.

A judge ordered Santiago held on $2,000 bail and Stewart on $500, along with an order to stay away from the mall.

There was no information available as to whether they had obtained lawyers who could comment on the charges on their behalf.
