Man shot dead in East Boston

Police are searching for answers after a man was shot dead on Falcon Street in East Boston early Sunday morning.

The victim, who has not been identified, was found suffering from gunshot wounds around 1:30 a.m. in the area of 144 Falcon St. near East Boston High School, according to a police report.

Police had not yet released the victim’s name or age by early afternoon on Sunday.
