A Southbrigde middle school teacher was busted trying to set up a pornographicwebcam show with young girls from the Philippines on Tuesday.
Scott Peeler, 53, of Worcester was hit with a federal charge of receiving child porn and two counts of attempted coercion of a minor.
According to the affidavit from the feds, Peeler used a Yahoo Messenger account to set up a webcam show involving sex acts involving minors. He is accused of transferring money and attempting to view these sex shows four times. The participants in these videos range from ages 4 to 14. Worcester Police found child porn in Peeler’s home after a search.
Coercing and enticing a minor earns a mandatory minimum of 10 years in jail and could potentially merit a life stay in the slammer. Receiving child porn earns a minimum of five years and could merit a 20 year stay. Peeler appeared in court on Tuesday and will be held until his detention hearing in Worcester’s federal court on Thursday at 10 a.m..
