An early Monday crash on Route 1 in Peabody killed a Haverhill woman, according to State Police.
The 33-year-old woman, whose identity has not been released, was walking in the left travel lane of the road when she was struck by a 2012 Honda CRV just before 12:20 a.m.
The victim was taken to Lahey Medical Center where she was subsequently pronounced dead.
The driver of the Honda, a 51-year-old man from Ipswich was not injured. As of this morning, the man faces no charges. State Police are currently investigating the crash.
Police did not disclose any further information Monday morning.
