Pets try on their Howl-ween best for the fourth annual Faneuil Hall costume contest (PHOTOS)

Faneuil Hall Marketplace played host to crowds of cats and dogs in disguise for their fourth annual Halloween Pet Parade and Costume Contest on Saturday afternoon. Attendees and their owners were asked to walk the “cat walk” for event judges and were dubbed winners in four categories — Best in Show, Best Owner-Pet Combo, Best Local Representation and Most Creative. The West End competition is co-hosted by Canobie Lake Park Screamfest and gives pets and their owners an opporunity to be creative and dress up in a safe, animal-friendly environment.
