Pie in the Sky kicks off this year’s 20,000-pie bake sale (PHOTOS)

Local non-profit Community Servings kicked off their annual Thanksgiving bake sale with the Pie in the Sky party at the W Hotel on Tuesday night. The celebration marked the beginning of the program’s pie sales program leading up to the holidays — during which they sell more than 20,000 $30 pies made by area chefs to support families and individuals living with chronic illness in Massachusetts. This year’s even highlights the top sellers (get it, Team Pie It Forward) and the ongoing efforts of Community Servings as the sales season officially kicks off.
