Pixies to play TT the Bears tonight

If you’re heartbroken over the news that beloved Cambridge club TT the Bears is closing soon, this might brighten your day: Pixies are returning to play the club one last time. The BostonCallingheadlinersplayed there during the early days oftheir career, way back in the ’80s, and decided to take one last trip through before the venue closed for the last time.

But how do you get your hands on a ticket? Well, you’ll have to make your way down to the Orpheum this afternoon. Tickets are on a first come, first served basis, and go on sale starting at 2 p.m. You can only buy two, and they cost $55 apiece. Oh, and whoever you’re bringing has to be there with you, because you’ll get your wristband put on at the box office. It’s 18+, and you’ll need to show a valid ID, your magical wristband and your ticket to get in tonight. May the odds be ever in your favor, devoted Pixies/TT the Bears fans.
