Police looking for man wanted for breaking and entering in Roxbury

Boston Police are asking for help identifying a man who is thought to have broken into two houses in the Roxbury side of Mission Hill.

Police are looking for a black man with a scruffy beard. He is described as having a medium build and 6 feet tall.

Authorities are looking for this man in connection to a break-in that took place at around 6:55 a.m. on Monday, June 29 on Cherokee Street. The victim said that someone stole their laptop and iPhone.

Not long after, while on scene, another victim came to the police and said that she found an unknown man matching the description provided in her Hillside Street home. She confronted the man, who told her that her door was unlocked and walked out of the home.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call Detectives assigned to District B-2 at (617) 343-4275.
