Police in Lowell are looking for a father who took off with his infant daughter before authorities planned to take custody of the child.
Calvin Sulzle, 24, allegedly took his 10-month-old daughter, Summer Monteiro-Bravehawk, before the Department of Children and Families could take custody of the child on Tuesday, Fox 25 reported. Investigators are not sure if Sulzle will face any charges, and they say it depends on if he knew the DCF had a court order to take custody of the child, WBZ reported.
Officers believe that Sulzle, who is a member of the Sioux Rosebud Tribe from Mission, South Dakota, may be taking the child to the reservation, Fox25 reported.

Sulzle is described as 5-foot-10 and 150 pounds with black hair cut in a faux-hawk style, Fox25 reported.
Officers said they found the only car affiliated with Sulze in Lowell on Tuesday and therefore do not have a description of the vehicle he may be using, WBZ reported. Investigators are checking to see if Sulzle fled using trains instead.
