Rob Gronkowski pointed to the sky after scoring a touchdown against the Tennessee Titans Sunday at Gillette Stadium as he honored his late friend and personal trainer, Dana Parenteau, who passed away last week.

Parenteau was just 42-years-old.

According to Eric Macramalla of TSN, Gronkowski arranged for five of Parenteau’s family members – including Dana’s fiancee – to attend Sunday’s game.

“€œMy good friend loved the game of football, he loved being at all my games. Always had my back,” Gronkowski said of Parenteau. “I definitely dedicate that touchdown to him. I pointed up. I know he was up there watching. I definitely made that score for him and I know he was going crazy knowing that it was dedicated to him.

“I know he would want me to go out there and whoop some booty, which we did as a team,” Gronkowski said. “He’€™s pumping me up before the games and loves seeing me go out there and ball. That’€™s what we did today and I know he’€™s up there and he’€™s proud.”

Gronkowski was absent from Patriots practice this past Friday after learning of Parenteau’s death.
