Shooting in Norwood leaves one man dead

Police are investigating a shooting in Norwood that left one man dead early Monday morning, WHDH reported.

The 28-year-old man, who has not been identified, was shot around 1:30 a.m. in the Stonebridge Apartments complex on Dean Street. He was taken to Norwood Hospital where he died from his wounds.

“The victim was a victim of multiple shots. We are actually determining how many now. But he did suffer multiple gunshot wounds,” Norfolk County District Attorney Michael Morrissey said.

According to WCVB, investigators do not believe the attack was random.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing. Police are questioning witnesses and checking for any surveillance footage.
