A teenager in Brockton was hit by a stray bullet while in his home.
According to police, the young man was simply getting a drink of water in his home when he was struck in the back.
“The bullet pierced the wall of the housing complex, hit the boy in the back and exited his body,” ABC Bostonreported.“The gunfire outside the complex also hit several cars, leaving residents stunned and shaken.”
The unnamed teen was reportedly taken to Boston Medical center and is expected to survive.
Police are still looking for the shooter.
