Tufts warns of man who exposed himself near campus

Tufts University police have warnedstudents that a man exposed himself in a parked car near campus Tuesday.

The incident happened around 2 p.m. on College Avenue, investigators said in an online safety notice.The victim, a female student, told police the man was sitting in an older model four-door gray sedan when she walked by and saw him with his genitals out. She described the man as in his 20s and wearing a blue shirt.

Police responded to a similar incident in the same area on May 14, according to the statement. Both Tufts University police and Somerville police are investigating the incidents and have increased patrols in the area.
