Two people have been arrested in connection with a stabbing Wednesday night in New Bedford that left a 15-year-old boy dead, according to the Bristol County District Attorney’s office.

Luis Rafael Class, 21, was charged with accessory to murder after the fact and assault and battery. He will be arraigned in New Bedford on Thursday.

A 16-year-old boy was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, but officials are not releasing more information about him because of his status as a juvenile.

New Bedford police were called to the area of Middle and Chancery Streets around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday night for a reported stabbing incident involving three victims. One victim was the 15-year-old who died.

The other two victims, a 16-year-old male and a 22-year-old male, were taken to area hospitals to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. The 16-year-old has since been released.
