Two people died and third person was seriously injured after a car drove into a small pond near Gates Street and the Framingham Country Club in Framingham early Sunday morning.
Authorities found a man and a woman dead in the front seats and a second woman suffering from serious injuries in the submerged vehicle. The woman was taken to a hospital in Boston.
Authorities are not sure how long the car had been in the pond before it was found. The cause of the crash is under investigation, but it appears that the driver misjudged a turn coming off of Route 9 east.
