The NFL likes to keep its full schedule release date quiet - which certainly goes against their fabric.

In recent years, the schedule release day has become something of a holiday as fans can begin to plan their fall and winter travel plans. The release show gets monster TV ratings as well. So it's curious that the league likes to keep us guessing as to when this all important event will take place.

Here's an educated guess, though: Tuesday, April 19 at 8 p.m. on NFL Network

ProFootballTalk said in March that the most likely week that the schedule release will take place is the week of April 18 and last year the release date was on a Tuesday.

The NFL Draft will take place from April 28-30 and the league (aka the NFL Network) likes to let its fans digest the schedule for a few days before going into full draft mode.
