It’s safe now but there were some frightening moments Thursday morning on I-93 south when a box truck crashed through a guardrail and wound up dangling, precariously, over the Red Line tracks.
The MBTA shut service on the line, and provided commuters with bus transport between the North Quincy and JFK stations as state police worked to bring the truck back from the brink.
The right lane of the expressway was also closed. I-93 was fully open shortly before 9 a.m., ABC Boston reportsand the MBTA reports service has resumed.
