BPL: What is Boston reading?

According to the Boston Public Library website, the most read non-fiction book checked out from the library in August was “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks.”

It’s runner up?

The works of Saturday Night Live’s Tina Fey, which has 423 holds on the 93 copies that are supposed to be on shelves.

The BPL keeps a running list of the top ten most popular novels that get yanked form their shelves and put them into a database to let other library members see what’s hot.
