A bride-to-be and her fiance’s best man were found dead over the weekend after a 19-foot speedboat slammed into a construction barge near the Tappan Zee Bridge just north of New York City.

A body matching the description of Lindsey Stewart, 30, was found floating offshore on Saturday, just two weeks before she was to be married Aug. 10. A second body confirmed to be her fiance’s best man, Mark Lennon, 30, was found about a mile downstream of the first body Sunday, according to the Associated Press.

The groom-to be, Brian Bond, 36, was one of four passengers rescued after the crash.

A friend who was driving the boat, Jojo John, 35, was charged with vehicular manslaughter and vehicular assault and held on $250,000 bail. John was still recovering from his own injuries when he was charged.

Cops believe John was drunk when he navigated the Stingray boat.
