A man attacked his roommate with a machete before lighting himself on fire today, according to the New York Daily News.
The man, 36, attacked his housemate with the weapon this morning, then set himself on fire and created a two-alarm fire. A passerby saved the man from the apartment building, and then cops extinguished him, but he is still in critical condition.
The man he stabbed, who is 51, is in stable condition.
