Nash had allegedly entered a residence illegally and attacked a woman, 51, whom he struck before forcibly removing her clothes. The victim was able to break free and call her husband, 61-year-old Mamadou Diallo, who was just outside their building, police said.

When Diallo arrived upstairs, he encountered Nash in a hallway where he beat him to the point that Nash was taken to Lincoln Hospital where he later died from his injuries, according to authorities.
