Brooklyn ‘anti-cafe’ charges by the minute for unlimited coffee and treats

If your caffeine addiction is at the point wherequantity is more important than anything else, a new Brooklyn cafe will keep you upright.

At Glasshour, which opened at 63 Skillman Ave. in Williamsburg this fall, instead of paying per cup of coffee you pay for the time you spend drinking it. The first hour costs $6, and after that it’s 10 cents a minute for up to four hours — after which you can keep drinking for free. The cafe also serves unlimited teas and light snacks like cookies.

Though the space is equipped with free Wi-Fi and tables, it’s more for hanging out than co-working unless you can resist the temptation of board games and the noise from PS4 video games and a foosball table.
