Brooklyn bicyclist killed in hit-and-run

Police are looking for the truck driver who they say fatally struck a bicyclistbefore driving off in BrooklynTuesday night.

The driver wastraveling westbound on Avenue U, pass the intersection of East 9th Street in Sheepshead Bay, when it struck the54-year-old bicyclist who was ridingparallel and in the same direction as the vehicle, police said.

EMS responded and rushedthe victim, identified as 54-year-old Reng Ma Can of Brooklyn,to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced deceased

According to police, the truck fled the scene and there have been no arrests as the investigation continues.
