Brooklyn blaze caused by hoarding

WILLIAMSBURG – The second floor of a residential building, 13 Conselyea St. in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, caught fire yesterday afternoon. Its roof was consumed by the flames.

Many of the firefighters on the scene remarked the condition of the blaze was a “Collyer’s Mansion”?fire, referring to a major collapse within the building that is fueled by excessive hoarding of debris or trash.
