Brooklyn Bridge climber gets community service

A French college student who scaled the Brooklyn Bridge last month to snap a photograph will perform 30 days of community service instead of jail time, the Brooklyn DA’s office said.

Yonathan Souid has already done 40 hours of community service,according to a Brooklyn DA spokesperson.

Prosecutors wanted Souidto serve 60 days in jail.
