Delman Maldonado, 41, was pronounced dead, and 56-year-old Israel Turcios was taken to Brookdale Hospital, where he too died from his injuries, according to police. A preliminary investigation indicated that an Acura TL sedan speeding east on Fulton Street struck the two men and two parked cars at the corner.

The NYPD was continuing to investigate the crash, and no arrests have been made, police stated. The unknown driver of the sedan fled the location on foot.
