The Bruins were relatively quiet on the final day of the NHL trade deadline, save for two minor moves, but the rest of the league participated in a grand swap-fest.

Defenseman Wade Redden is reportedly headed to Boston. The 35-year-old Redden was bought out by the Rangers earlier this season and played 23 games this season with the Blues. He has two goals and three assists this season.

Columbus Blue Jackets nabbed winger Marian Gaborik from the Rangers, who received Derick Brassard, Derek Dorsett and defenseman John Moore in return.

The Sharks landed winger Raffi Torres from Phoenix and also brought back defenseman Scott Hannan.
Minnesota netted center Jason Pominville.

Pittsburgh continued to make noise, landing forward Jussi Jokinen from Carolina.

The Bruins also tinkered at the minor league level as they sent Maxime Sauve to the Blackhawks for Rob Flick. The 22-year-old Flick has five points and 97 penalty minutes in 51 AHL games.
